The Empress Cloak wraps you in deep midnight navy and electric cobalt, with the full tarot card rendered across the back in glowing violet and hot pink linework. Crescent moons, watching eyes and sheaves of wheat run over the shoulders and down the sleeves, and the Empress herself sits crowned and calm at the centre, surrounded by rays of light. Turn around on a dancefloor and the whole card opens out behind you.
Imagery designed by Eve Sweetman, founder of ICU Streetwear, it takes the Empress at her word. She is the card of abundance, creativity and quiet, unbothered power. The one who does not need to raise her voice. Eve’s version leans into that with a palette pulled straight from the 3am lighting rig, all ultraviolet blues and magentas that come alive.
Then there is the lining. Thick cream Berber fleece through the oversized hood and body, which is the part your friends will fight you for at 5am when the temperature drops and the sun still has an hour to go. The flared A line cut falls wide and dramatic with full length sleeves, so you get the sweep of a cape without losing your arms to it. Throw it over lace flares and light up boots, or over thermals and a hoodie when the campsite turns arctic. It works both ways.
Festival grounds, bush doofs, walking home at dawn, the couch afterwards. This one earns its place in the bag.
