Afterpay is a ‘buy-now-pay-later’ platform that allows customers to pay for their purchases over four, fortnightly instalments1. It’s like a modern-day credit card with an interest-free period2. Afterpay works effectively anywhere you can use your EFTPOS card, but the retailer does have to have signed up with Afterpay and gone through their vetting process.

3. How to Use Afterpay
a. Create an Account: Download the Afterpay app and set up an account using an email address or phone number1.
b. Shopping with Afterpay: Shop at stores that accept Afterpay, such as Ravers Co online or other online or in-store retailers. If in-store, use the Afterpay mobile app to generate a barcode4.
c. Checkout with Afterpay: Shop normally on ravers co, by adding items to your Shopping Cart, then select Afterpay as your payment option at checkout. You will not have to pay the full amount upfront4.
NOTE: Afterpay is Interest free, and is a great option if you pay on time. They make their money through late fees and from the percentage we pay them(around 3%) of all of our sales made with afterpay. Try your utmost to make your payments on time, if you cant make a payment, you should delay it. Check your app for payment delay options, however you may not be able to delay your first payment so be aware of that!
